"Conrad Mohr" was built in 1909. Sold in 1930 as "Irini". sold in 1935 as "Atlas". Torpedoed and sunk in 1940.

Petroleum products were mostly imported from America. To this long-distance transport was needed for tankers
with greater reliability and load capacity than a converted sailing ship could offer. In cooperation with shipowners
and Prime Minister Christian Michelsen, VPC bought a new steam tanker, SS "Conrad Mohr". It was delivered in
1909 and was the first steam tanker built with Norwegian funds. Steam tanker had a capacity of 40,000 barrels.
It should primarily transporting petroleum products from Standard Oil 's refineries to tank depots in Skålevik and
Steilene.
