Sold in 1973 as "Mireya".

"Esso 30", with Captain Harald Madsen in foreground.
"Esso 30" transported oil to Svalbard, Spitsbergen, the nearest island of Norwegian meteorological station at Cape Linne .
The oil was pumped through hoses laid between the land and the vessel. Esso was once the only oil supplier
to Svalbard and Jan Mayen, with SNSKK as the main customer.
