09.2008 Info Bill Schell: ESSO EUROPOORT (1970) MN said arrived Kaohsiung 27.09.1982. Lloyd’s computer does not have the
breaker’s name and says arrived 08.10.1982, work began 03.11.1982 and completed 01.12.1982 - price $107 per ton light dpl.
From what I know from having been to Kaohsiung myself, I would suspect the MN date is when she arrived outside and anchored,
and the arrival date in LR is when she was towed into Kaohsiung harbor and delivered to the breakers. The entrance to Kaohsiung
is rather narrow and the harbor quite congested, so I suspect it would have been a bit tricky to get her through the entrance and
safely moored.
