‘ESSO PORT DlCKSON' alongside 'PELlKAN’ during ship to ship transfer operations at Singapore.
Earlier about I7 personnel of Marine & Supply, Planning & Economics and Financial Services Departments of the Petroleum
Transport & Services. lnc., Singapore, including R. A. Anderson, Deputy General Manager, and T. D. Kehoe, Marine & Supply Operations Manager, went on an inspection trip of the ESSO PORT DICKSON when it called at Singapore. The party was received on board the tanker by Captain E. Tabaroni who accompanied the party around the tanker.
During the two-hour tour, the party was shown around the Bridge, Pump Room, Engine Room, Captain's ullice and sleeping berth,
Officers' and crews‘ cabins, Galley and the Refrigeratiun Unit. A new tanker, the ESSO PORT DICKSON, 21,117 DWT was
launched on October 22nd 1968. lt was delivered to Esso Standard Eastern Tankers Limited at Kure, Japan, on February 20.
