Portland, Ore.,  resulting vessel, containership,  10,948 grt, 471.1 x 71.5', delivered. 03/1970
1970 - BALTIMORE, Monterey Transportation Co., Inc., Wilmington, Del. [D. K. Ludwig]  leased to Sea-Land Services
Broken up at Kaohsiung 1985 by Hoei Tai Steel & Iron Corp., arrived 24.05.1985 in tow,
work began 14.06.1985.

Sisterships are Esso Camden, Esso Memphis, Esso Portland, Esso New Haven,
Esso Scranton, Esso Springfield and Esso Utica.

1969: Aft section joined to fore and midbody od Baltimore (C4 Type) by Willamette Iron & Steel Corp., Portland, OR and converted to
a container carrier (measurements: 497ft x 72ft, 10,498GRT, 9,036DWT). Renamed Baltimore (see Sun yard numbers 287 and 390).
Scrapped at Kaohsiung 24.05.1985.
