Stranded 3 July 1976 on the east coast of San Andres Island, in 12.30 N-81.43 W, after breaking moorings in bad weather,
subsequently refloated, not worth repair, Broken up at Brownsville, arrived prior 05.07.1977.

Sisterships are Esso Camden, Esso Memphis, Esso Portland, Esso Roanoke, Esso Scranton, Esso Springfield
and Esso New Haven.

Later Names:
1957 Glen Cove, 1961 Texaco London, 1971 Texaco Cocle, 1976 Polaris 1.
Wrecked 12.30 N / 81.43 W on 03.07.1976 & scrapped at Brownsville 07.1977.
