Foundered nine miles (8 degrees N 3/4 E) of Cleveland east pier, off Euclid Beach Park, OH, Lake Erie, December 3, 1942, with all hands; 4 lives lost. Tug ADMIRAL, towing her, also lost with all hands; eighteen lives lost in all. Hull raised in July, 1961, by North American Salvage Co. (J.R. King), of Bordentown, NJ, towed into deep water and scuttled.
