The Frenchtown was built by Sun Ship under the U.S. Maritime Commission contract as T2-SE-A1 tanker in March 1944. She became the Esso Elizabeth for Standard Oil in 1946, and went to the Imperial Oil Shipping Company as the Imperial Fredericton in 1948. In 1954 she became the Geo. G., owned by Vespuccio Cia. Armadora S.A. of Monrovia, and in 1961 was converted to a bulk carrier by Rheinstahl Nordseewerke G.m.b.H., of Emden, and renamed Invicta. She ultimately became the Holy Trinity in 1973, and broken up at La Spezia in 1978.
