One the three last newbuildings for the San Juan (Marcona) mining corporation. An ore/oil carrier, built by Mitsubishi in 1969, and fitted with steam turbines (in the good American tradition), she was sold by Marcona to CY Tungin 1979, to become the Atlantic Venturer. Ultimately broken up in China in 1987.
