"Magdala (2)" float out of building dock
Michael Pryce wrote to me :
Built in Jean Bart dock, but ship was too wide to fit, so was completed with port-side wing tanks incomplete, with sections required for completion stowed on deck. Was then moved into Joubert dock, which was wide enough to complete building.
This proved to be an expensive exercise, and no others were built by this method.
