Former ocean-going T-2 tanker, the"Joseph S.Young" nearing MacArthur Bridge here on 1/7 en route to
Buffalo N.Y., where it will become a dry cargo carrier on Great Lakes. The 588 foot, 10,000 - ton vessel
was converted at Baltimore and then towed to New Orleans for trip up river.
Notice that ship is carrying its superstructure knocked down for passage under bridges.
