Just ran into your site .... thought this might interest you. I took
some video aboard the USS Elokomin AO55 on our way back from the Med in 1962 during what was called the Ash Wednesday storm. I spent 2 years aboard as her Electronics/Crypto security officer. Enjoy.

Attached is a larger video. I've identified DD-711 (Eugene Greene), DD-878 ( Vesole), DD-883 ( Perry) and I think CVN 65, (Enterprise) also I think the one in the first clip I sent is DDG-1 (Gyatt), the first guided missile destroyer. This was March 3-9 1962, the "Ash Wednesday storm" so you can research from there to verify my recollections. Regards
