1943 - Laid down, as NARRAGUAGAS, 30 August 1944, as a Maritime Commission type (T1-M-A2) tanker hull, under Maritime Commission (MC hull 1529) contract at East Coast Shipyards Inc., Bayonne, N.J.
1944 - NARRAGUAGAS Acquired by the Navy from the Maritime Commission, 20 November 1944.
1944 - NARRAGUAGAS (AOG-32) Commissioned, 2 December 1944.
1946 - NARRAGUAGAS (AOG-32) Decommisioned, 5 March 1946, at San Pedro, CA.
1946 - NARRAGUAGAS (AOG-32) Struck from the Naval Register, 12 April 1946.
1946 - KANAWHA , 4 September 1946, for lay up in the National Defense Reserve Fleet, Suisun Bay, Benecia, CA.
1947 - NARRAGUAGAS Transferred, June 1947, for disposal.
1947 - NARRAGUAGAS  Sold by the Maritime Commission to Compania de Petroleo Lago, Maracaibo, Venezuela, renamed ESSO MARACAIBO.
1956 - ESSO MARACAIBO Sold to D. Yaracuy, Maracaibo, Venezuela, renamed as YURTIA.
1961 - YURTIA Sold to Transpetroleo Corporation, Monrovia, Liberia, renamed as SARITA.
CASUALTY REPORTS.
Reported Sarita sold to shipbreakers in Ecuador. Arrived breakers yard 1970 to be broken up.
