Laid up in the National Defense Reserve Fleet, Lake Charles, LA
Transferred, 3 April 1948, to the US Navy Atlantic Reserve Fleet, Orange, TX.
Placed in service by the Military Sea Transportation Service (MSTS), 18 February 1952,
as USNS Wacissa (T-AOG-59)
Placed out of service, 25 May 1954
Laid up in the Atlantic Reserve Fleet, Green Cove Springs, FL.
Placed in service, 25 May 1956 by the Military Sea Transportation Service (MSTS)
Placed out of service, transferred to the Maritime Administration for lay up in the National Defense
Reserve Fleet, Suisun Bay , Benecia, CA., 16 October 1956
Transferred to the US Navy to be placed in service by the Military Sea Transportation Service (MSTS), 8 April 1957
Placed out of service and transferred to the US Air Force, 16 September 1957
Turned over to Canada, (date unknown) to be operated by the Northern Transportation Co., Ltd.
Returned to the US Navy in 1963
