The first "Tioga" was build as "Christine" in 1890 by Burmeister & Wain, for the Danske Petroleum Akt.
Measurements : 281 Feet lenght x 37 Feet breadth.
Engines : T 3 cyl.
1902 : Renamed "Tioga" for Anglo-American Oil Co., Ltd.
1910 : Sold to Cia Bellerina ( Christensen ), not renamed.
04.02.1913 : Stranded, South Orkney Island, South Atlantic, whilst on whaling service.
