Esso Canterbury - (1954-1968)
"Esso Canterbury" was build in 1954 and was sold as "Golden Jay".
On 14th May, 1972, on a voyage from los Angelos to Venezuela in ballast, there was an explosion and
she sank 200 miles south of Mazatlan, position 20.10 N / 106.34 W. ( 3 dead )
