 "Seminole (2)".
The second "Seminole", 6,923 BRT, was build in 1921 by Vickers Ltd., Barrow. She was a sister of the "Narragansett (II)".
Measurements : 425 Feet length x 57 Feet breadth.
Engines : 2 Oil twin. Twin screws.
3.1936 : Sold for breaking up "as lies" at Belfast.

Eleven drowned in ship collision
Eleven lives were lost from the crew of the racing windjammer "Melbourne", when the ship sank after a collision with the British tanker "Seminole", near the Fastnet lighthouse off the coast of Cork, Ireland.
The above photo shows the oil tanker "Seminole", owned by the Anglo-American Oil Company.
