All info thanks to Phil Storey, whose uncle sailed on this tanker.

"Uncas", at anchor in Hong Kong Harbour after collision with SS "St. Albans",
in Hong Kong Harbour, 16 September 1915.
"Uncas" in 1917, anchored at the Abadan Bar.
"Uncas", date and unkown place.
The gun on the "Uncas", was 4.7 inch which was put on board in Port Said in February 1918 en route to Milo,
Greece when she was requisitioned by the Admiralty in the First World War.

Here are some photos and information I have put together from my own research regarding the Uncas, you will see the letterhead is
from that company, also the ship details at the bottom of my notes on the ship which I believe I took from a book on the history of Esso
itemizes the fact that the Uncas was delivered directly to the Tank Storage Co.
My uncle was at sea for 50 years and I have put together details of his career by visiting the Merseyside Maritime Museum in Liverpool
also the National Archives in London and to complete the project I have to still visit the University of Newfoundland where a lot of the
British Merchant Navy records are held.
He continued his career on the S.S.Ottawa which I see you have a photo on your website, the only one I have ever found, he sailed on
her from 26 June 1919 - 12 September 1919 doing a round trip to the Gulf of Mexico.
