Another Model of the "Esso Glasgow"

Hi Auke,
Now that I, too, have retired, I have found time to build the "Esso Glasgow" kit which I bought some years ago!
The Revell kit provides for you to build the 1:400 vessel as either "Wauhatchie", complete with fore and aft guns
and "Esso Glasgow" in her pre-jumboisation days. I chose the latter as the model lends itself to building a ship full
of nostalgia value for me.
I attach three shots of the completed kit which I have painted and weathered so as to give that well-used look. After
a bit of searching, I found a Tamiya acrylic blue paint to correspond to the unique Esso house colour. Unusually,
the kit is neither full hull, nor waterline, but still looks good as she sails across the top of the household freezer!
