Tanker, Yardnumber 497, 1962.
Client : Esso Petroleum Company Ltd. Londen, UK.
Dimensions : 214.88 x 31.09 x 15.29 meter.
Propulsion : NDSM/Pametrada 2 stage turbines
Launch from way 5 on December 15th 1961 christening by Mrs. Joan Choppen,
wife of one of the directors of the Esso Petroleum Company Ltd. Londen.
Flowergirl was Ina Tol.
It was the 100 th post-war ship that has has been launched at the NDSM.
For that occasion any staff member of the yard, received a silver cigarette box with inscription.
The delivery took place on September 11th 1962.
Arrived on November 9th 1976 at Li Chong Steel & Iron in Kaohsiung, Taiwan for demolition.

First keel segment laid down in 1961 at the Nederlandsche Dok & Scheepsbouw Maatschappij, Amsterdam.

Invitation for the launch of the "Esso Lincoln".
Attendees received a Delft wall plate. The upper ones are awarded to the NDSM director Gaasterland and wife,
and the third to a previously unknown person. At the Royal Delft made wall plates have a diameter of 15 cm.
All staff , business partners and guests received a silver cigarette box.
On the front is an inscription with the following text:

The box inside is finished with Okoume pictures. The dimensions are 13 x 9,5 x 5 cm.
The supplied card as a thank you from the management.
