(A previous oil reclamation barge, Esso Recovery, was built by E. Newell and Company
Ltd., Misterton, in 1941. She had measurements of 45 feet length (oa) and 16
feet breadth, giving 60 gross tons. She had oil engines, was fitted with a bow
door and Worked in Southampton Water.)
