She is powered by an opposed piston Doxford 6-cylinder 6756 engine developing 12,000 HP.
"SHABONEE" traded as "SEA GRIFFIN" under time charter until she was bought out in1974. The vessel was remeasured for internal billing purposes to 24,999 SDWT.
She was owned by Destiny Tankers Limited until 1983 when was sold to Eurospot Navigation Company and renamed "SEAVENTURE", sold in 1992 as "PRIMA".
Scrapped at Alang 30.03.1994.
