LOA 8427", Beam 122'5", Draught 42'103". 84,620 SDWT
Built 1965 by Chantiers de I'Atlantique, France, and delivered from Mobil Oil Francaise in April 1974 to Mobil Shipping and Transportation Company and renamed MOBIL VENTURE. Powered by two General Electric steam turbines developing 24,335SHP, she was all aft construction and a sister ship to MOBIL LIBYA and MOBIL JAPAN.
While MOBIL VENTURE was discharging in Paulsboro, a passing vessel which suffered a loss of steering collided with her, damaging MOBIL VENTURE and wrecking a new jetty. She was laid up in Eleusis Bay, Greece, in November 1975, then sold in April 1976 and renamed CARDIFF II. Scrapped in 1978.
