ss OLYMPIC BRAVERY,

The OLYMPIC BRAVERY suffered total engine failure 24-01-1976 and grounded 1 Mile, North East
of the Creac'h Lighthouse near Ushant Island, France. The vessel was on her way from her builders
at Brest to Farsund in Norway to be laid-up, she later broke into two sections and at the time of
her loss she was insured for $US 50,000,000 and was the largest casualty ever sustained by
hull underwriters. The wreck was later sold to a scrap metal dealer at Marseilles during 8-77.
