"Imperial" was build by Tyne Iron Shipbuilding Co., Newcastle, as "Minoco" for the Mineral Oil Corp., ( Hunting & Sons ).
Measurements : 200 Feet length x 32 Feet breadth. Build of iron and steel.
Engines : T 3 cyl.
1901 : Renamed as "Imperial" to the Anglo-American Oil Co.
1902 : First tanker on lakes of Canada.
2.1912 : Sold to Imperial Oil Co., Ltd., Sarnia, Ontario.
7.1922 : Towed to Vancouver for service in British Columbian waters.
1938 : Renamed "Impoco", to make way for a new building of the same name.
1939 : Broken up by Capital Iron & Steel Co., Victoria, British Coumbia.
