Apart from the steam coasters, there were two sailing ships in the coastal business:

Built in 1872, 65 Gt.
Built by R. M. Shrubsall, Milton, near Sittingbourne, Kent, for A. Dickinson, London.
Coasting ketch-barge, rigged as a dandy.
Measurements: 85 feet length x 18 feet breadth.
120 tdw.
1902: (B. Hill, Southsea, Hants).
1907: (Anglo-American).
1921: Disposed of.
