The fourth "Mobiloil" was build in 1959 by Sun Shipbuilding & Drydock Co., Chester, Pennsylvania.  
In 1980 she was laid up in the Colombia river and finally sold for breaking up to Kaoshiung in 1984.

She was built in Chester, Pennsylvania, U.S.A. by the Sun Shipbuilding & Drydock Company for the Socony Mobil Oil Company Inc.,
of New York, NY, U.S.A. as Mobiloil. She was their hull number 616 and was the second of two sisterships built for Socony Mobil Oil
during 1959. Mobiloil's predacessor was hull number 615, Mobil Aero. Mobiloil was fitted with 2, General Electric steam turbines
engines that could produce up to 17,600 horsepower. They were connected through reduction gearing to a single shaft and were ca-
pable of pushing the 641' x 84'3" x 45'0" ship along at speeds in excess of 17 knots.
On March 19th, 1983 Mobiloil ran aground near St. Helens, Oregon while she was inbound in the Columbia River from March Point to
Portland, Oregon. At the time of the accident she was loaded with oil which subsequently leaked out and caused a considerable spill.
She was refloated on March 26th and placed into layup "as is" on the Columbia River. Shortly thereafter though the Mobil Oil Corporation
sold the damaged ship to Bomar Resources, U.S.A. who inturn resold the ship for scrapping in Taiwan. Mobiloil departed the Columbia
River under tow on September 13th, 1984 and she arrived at Kaohsiung on November 10th where she was subsequently run up on the
scrapping beach. Finally on November 20th crews from Kuo Dar Steel & Iron Enterprises Co. Ltd., began dismantling the well travelled
hull and the scrap steel was shipped away for recycling.
